BEDFORD N.H. – Town officials in Bedford have sworn in their new Town Clerk, who’s no strangers to the area, as former Councilor Bill Carter has been named the successor to Sally Kellar.
Carter arrival comes after Kellar recently left her position and now serves as city clerk in Portsmouth.
Officials note that Carter is expected to finish the first year of Keller’s three-year term, filling the position until local elections are held next March.
According to Carter he “fully intends” to seek election to the remaining two years in March.
