Concord, NH – The Governor’s Office for Emergency Relief and Recovery Executive Director Jerry Little announces that New Hampshire Long Term Care Provider applications are being accepted and $30 million in CARES Act Flex Funds is available to support their COVID-19 relief expenses.
The application period opened Friday, June 12, 2020, and extends through June 19, 2020. In order to be considered eligible, all applications must be completed and submitted by the June 19, 2020, deadline. Long Term Care providers are residential skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, home health care agencies, and other congregate residential living facilities that provide healthcare services to the elderly that are licensed by DHHS under RSA 151 and regulated by NH Administrative Rule He-P 803, HE-P 804, He-P 805, HE-P 809, He-P 822, He-P 823, and He-P 824.
Following the mandatory submission period, the Department of Health and Human Services will review all information received within one week and make a recommendation to the Governor for relief criteria and amounts ensuring the equitable division of available funds among the eligible New Hampshire Long Term Care providers. It is anticipated that all funds will be allocated at one time, subject to the final approval of the Governor.
Approved applicants will be notified and provided with the award amount. A list of the approved applicants and the amount of the awards will be posted on the DHHS and GOFERR websites. Checks will be issued within 7 to 10 days after approval.
