At approximately 4:45am on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 the Hooksett Police were called to 30 Julia Drive for the report of an assault that had just occurred. The victim, a 31 year old, male reported to the police that he had exited his home a few minutes prior and was confronted by two males, one of which was carrying a long gun, similar to an assault weapon. One male struck the victim in the head with the gun and also punched him. The unidentified suspects attempted to force the victim into his home. The victim was able to flee the area and call police.

One suspect was described as a light-skinned Black or Hispanic male. The second male had a covering on his face. They are believed to have been driving a light colored SUV, similar to a Toyota RAV4. The victim was transported to a local hospital, treated and released. Video surveillance did capture the assault and has been provided to the police.

Hooksett Police Detectives are actively working on the case and are encouraging anyone with more information to call (603) 624-1560. While it is unknown if this was a random attack, it does appear from the video that the suspects targeted that specific home. Hooksett Police will be increasing patrols in the area.
