Hooksett Road Reopened after Crash into Utility Pole

Quite a mess on Hooksett Road in Manchester yesterday after an SUV took down a utility pole leaving live wires in the street. It’s unclear what led to the crash earlier in the day. Manchester police said the driver of the vehicle ran off after the crash. No additional details have been released.

Crews shut off power to the area so the downed wires could safely be repaired. It took utility crews until 1 this morning to repair the pole and reopen the road by Livingston Park.
