The Town of Hooksett continues to actively monitor the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, and will stay alert on any changes in this matter. The Town is committed to the continued health and optimal safety of our residents as well as our employees. In Hooksett’s effort to maximize safe distancing measure recommended by the CDC and other health organization regarding COVID-19, Hooksett will implement the following measures:

Hooksett Town Hall will be closed to the public starting Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 12:00 pm until further notice.

Hooksett residents and property owners are asked to utilize online services, applications and payment options to transact business at Town Hall. Provided below is contact information and services able to be transacted on-line or via the mail service. Customers are encouraged to call the respective department with any questions you may have in regards to your transaction. The following are phone numbers and for all department should you need to contact them.

Family Services Department: https://www.hooksett.org/family-services, provides eligible residents with the basic needs they are financially unable to provide for themselves under NH RSA 165. Eligibility is determined through completion of the department’s application process. To prevent person to person contact, applications can either be mailed or sent via email. Town Hall Gym: Gym is close until further notice

Hooksett School District: Per order of Governor Chris Sununu, all New Hampshire schools are closed until April 3, 2020. For updated information, consult the Hooksett School District’s website: https://sau15.net/

Library: In compliance with the “social distancing” recommendation by the CDC, the Library’s Director and Board of Trustees have decided to close the Library at least until March 30th, pending future developments.
