PITTSFIELD, N.H.- Authorities say one person was injured over the weekend when a hot air balloon caught fire.
According to police the unidentified individual was injured Saturday during the Suncook Valley Rotary Club’s annual rally.
The fire occurred during the early morning hours when a remote-controlled balloon that “experienced a malfunction” before flames broke out.
The balloon’s operator was transported to Concord Hospital with minor injuries but has since been released.
