Keene Police have announced that human remains found in the area of the American Legion on Court St April 17 have now been identified.
The New Hampshire Office of the Chief Medical Examiner have determined that the skeletal remains recovered last month have been identified as Brenda Kenney, who was 48 years old at the time of her disappearance.
Kenney had been reported as a missing person to the Keene Police Department in July 2022.
The cause and manner of Kenney’s death, while not considered suspicious at this time, is still pending.
