Jordan Davis and Mitchell Tenpenny Share a Heartfelt Moment Onstage

This is pretty cool.  Jordan Davis and Mitchell Tenpenny look like pretty tough guys, so it was really nice to see a heartfelt, emotional moment from both of them.

It took place on Jordan’s Damn Good Time Tour, at a recent stop in Toronto, when Jordan took the mic and asked for Mitchell to join him back onstage.  When Mitchell was walking back out, he was confused for a moment, because none of it was scripted.

Jordan embraced his friend Mitchell and said, “I love him to death.  Out of all the people I met when I moved to Nashville, this guy’s heart is bigger than anyone I know.”

Jordan then went on to tell the crowd that he was donating a portion of the tour’s proceeds to Mitchell’s charity called the “10penny Fund“, which supports families affected by cancer.

And then they brought out a check for $200,000 to donate to the “10penny Fund”.  Jordan said, “Mitchell, I love you, buddy.  You deserve every penny of it.”  And then the two men shared a hug.

It was a really nice moment.
