MANCHESTER, N.H.- A judge has dismissed a lawsuit, ruling in favor of a group of parents who made headlines over a period of two years for wearing pink wristbands to protest transgender athletes taking part in girls’ sports.
On Thursday the judge said that Kyle Fellers and Anthony Foote were well within their 1st amendment rights for wearing wristbands that had been marked XX, representing the female chromosomes
The two have been involved in legal action against the district after they were first banned from school property and sporting events in 2024 for their protest.
School officials claimed they banned the parents in order to protect student athletes from harassment.
With the decision the pair also agreed to an undisclosed settlement.
