CONCORD, N.H.- A judge has 30 to 60 days to decide if lawyers for Pamela Smart will be granted an evidentiary hearing, as they claim jurors received inaccurate transcripts of audio recordings played in her original trial which led to her being convicted in the death of her husband Greg Smart.
Appearing virutally Monday Smart didn’t address the court, while her attorney’s continued their push for a hearing which seeks to determine whether her legal team presented enough grounds for the court to consider the claims.
The state questioned the study and said Smart’s team has yet to present how the transcripts could have affected the verdict.
