Lainey Wilson Is in No Rush to Get Married Now That She’s Engaged

Lainey Wilson is making her fiancé, Duck Hodges, wait on marrying her.

They got engaged back in February, but Duck famously took a very long time to pop the question.

So now Lainey’s returning the favor.  She said, “He made me wait for four years.  I’m gonna make him wait before we start planning this thing . . . We hadn’t really covered any ground on it just yet, but we’re taking our time and it’s gonna be right and it’s gonna be beautiful . . . what it’s supposed to be about.”

Next up on the horizon for Lainey is a deluxe edition of her album, “Whirlwind”, which will be released in August.  And she said that she’s working on her next full-length album, too.

So, hopefully she’ll make Duck an honest man at some point.  But it doesn’t sound like she’s in a rush.
