LONDONDERRY, N.H.-

33 year old Adam Cole of Londonderry turned himself in after police applied for a warrant to arrest him on a child endangerment charge.

According to police, an investigation began after a DCYF notification was sent to Londonderry police following reports that a 3-month-old victim went to the hospital.

Cole, who works as a firefighter in Andover, Mass, is facing one count of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of second-degree assault on someone under 13 years old.

Following his arraignment Cole was released on his own recognizance.
