A man charged with the death of a Hooksett, New Hampshire, native whose body was found in a car wrapped in blankets and parked outside of a Massachusetts hospital appeared in court Tuesday. The victim was identified as 27-year-old Declan Perry who grew up in Hooksett and was living in Portland, Maine. Chris Caron surrendered to police in Massachusetts over the weekend. Prosecutors said Caron and Perry were doing drugs together late last month at Caron’s home in Scituate, Massachusetts. Investigators believe Caron drove Perry’s car to the hospital, told medical staff about a body inside and then ran away before police arrived. Initial autopsy reports show Perry suffered blunt-force trauma to his head and neck, and those injuries led to his death.
