Man accused of stealing car and causing a crash in Manchester

DV Suspect Steals Car, Crashes and Takes Off

On July 27, 2020 at approximately 7:15 pm, Manchester Police responded to Maryland Ave for a report of a domestic incident. The suspect, 36 year old Patrick Giberson, had been involved in a domestic incident and stole a car.

Shortly after, Manchester Police dispatch got word that New Hampshire State Police had located the vehicle on Interstate 93. The car was involved in an accident involving another vehicle. Giberson fled the scene on foot and Manchester Officers assisted in canvasing the area near Bryant Rd and Corning Rd. Manchester officers located Giberson walking in the area of 320 Lucas Road. Giberson was taken into custody.

Giberson was charged with 2 counts of Criminal Threatening, 2 counts of Domestic Violence Simple Assault, Theft by Unauthorized Taking and Robbery. He was held on Preventative Detention and will be arraigned today in Hillsborough Superior Court – North.
