On November 8, 2019, at approximately 7:55 am, Troopers from the NH State Police-Troop A, Troop G and Headquarters were involved in a motor vehicle pursuit. Troop A dispatched had received calls in regards to a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner on Route 16 southbound in the Town of Milton.
It was reported that the vehicle had stopped in middle of the roadway, was swerving all over the roadway, had struck a guardrail, and almost collided with another vehicle.
The vehicle was located on Route 125 in the town of Milton by Trooper David Skelly. Trooper Skelly attempted to initiate a motor vehicle stop. However, the operator failed to stop and fled.
A pursuit was initiated that continued both northbound and southbound on Route 125 in the town of Milton and the city Rochester. The vehicle then proceeded down Route 75 westbound toward the Town of Farmington.
Eventually, the operator of the vehicle stopped at the intersection of Route 75 and 153 in the Town of Farmington. The male operator was taken into custody without incident.
The operator was identified as Marc HOROWITZ, age 48, from Sanford, ME 04073. The vehicle being driven was identified as a Subaru Crosstrek station wagon.
HOROWITZ was charged with DWI, Reckless Operation, and Disobeying a Police Officer. He is scheduled to appear in the 7th Circuit Court- Rochester District on December 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
