Man arrested clocked at 106mph


At approximately 0818 hours on November 11, 2019 Trooper First Class Sean Faherty, of the New Hampshire State Police Special Enforcement Unit was monitoring traffic from the State Police aircraft on I-93 southbound in the Town of Bow.

TFC Faherty observed a vehicle traveling at an extremely high rate of speed and clocked it at 106 MPH in the posted 65 MPH speed zone. TFC Faherty radioed to Troopers on the ground. The vehicle a 2006 Saab 9-3 passed by the ground trooper’s location. It was subsequently stopped on I-93 southbound on Interstate 93 in the Town of Hooksett. The Subject was identified as,  32 year old Nathaniel Neroni of Hanover,  NH

Trooper Matthew Gagnon made contact with Neroni. Trooper Gagnon found that Neroni’s right to operate and registration privileges were suspended. Trooper Gagnon charged Neroni with Reckless Driving, Operating after suspension or revocation and Operating with a suspended registration.

Neroni is due to appear in the Concord Circuit Court to answer to this charge on December 19, 2019 at 0800. In addition to the reckless operation charge, the members of NH State Police Special Enforcement Unit issued 70 summons and warnings during this aircraft detail.

The NH State Police Special Enforcement Unit regularly interdicts elevated speed violations and other aggressive driving behaviors. Its members patrol across the state often utilizing the State Police aircraft during commuter traffic periods and holiday travel times with the goal of keeping New Hampshire’s roadways safe for all residents and visitors.
