Police in New Hampshire say a man in a two-car crash landed in a frozen pond and was rescued by passers-by before he was charged with driving under the influence. Police in Hudson said one car rear-ended another Sunday. It careened across the street, down an embankment and rolled over onto the pond. The driver, 24-year-old Alexander Picard, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. A man who saw Picard’s car land upside down in the pond joined in the effort to rescue him. He was treated by the fire department for minor injuries.
