After an extensive investigation, Manchester Police have arrested 25 y/o Michael Roberson and charged him with First Degree Assault for an incident dating back to June 30, 2019. On that day, a 3 month old baby boy, known to Roberson, was brought to Elliot Hospital after having a seizure. The child was evaluated and found to have clear signs of trauma, to include a brain bleed.
Police learned that Roberson was the one caring for the child that day and was also the one who called 911. Through their investigation, to include medical records police have determined that the injuries were not accidental.
Working with the Hillsborough County Attorney’s office, Manchester Police were able to issue a warrant on October 9, 2019 and today (10/10/2019) Roberson was arrested and charged with First Degree Assault.
