Manchester Police have arrested 40 year old Albert Edwards, charging him with Theft by Unauthorized Taking. This stems from an incident on July 15, 2019 at Cactus Jacks Restaurant on S. Willow Street where a wallet was stolen. The victim told police she was tending bar and had put her wallet next to her purse behind the counter. She said when she noticed it was missing, she viewed the surveillance video and saw a man, reach over the counter, grab the wallet (which contained a large sum of cash) and put it in his bag. He immediately walked out. The bartender didn’t recognize him and said he was not a regular customer. This morning (8/22), Edwards turned himself in at the Manchester Police Department.
