Man Makes Threat with Gun

On January 28, 2021 at approximately 4:10pm, Manchester Police responded to 23 Carpenter St for a domestic incident involving a firearm.

The victim was already outside and explained that he and the suspect had gotten into an argument. The suspect then threatened him with a gun. It was also learned that several other people were still inside, but they were able to safely leave the home a short time later.

Given the uncertainty of the situation, roads were shut down and a perimeter set up. Contact was made with the suspect via phone and at approximately 5:45pm, the individual inside, identified as 24 year old  Connor Shaughnessy agreed to come out and was taken into custody without incident.

Shaughnessy was charged with felony Criminal Threatening and Resisting Arrest.
