CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire attorney general’s office has found that a Manchester man was legally justified in the shooting death of his son. Eighty-two-year-old George Beliveau said at the time of the April 2020 shooting that he was defending himself after his 59-year-old son Alan Beliveau attacked him. Alan Beliveau had been drinking and questioned whether George Beliveau was his father and then punched and kicked him. George Beliveau says he was scared for his life and shot his son twice with a pistol. George Beliveau began sobbing when told his son was dead. No charges will be filed against him.
