Manchester man arrested after armed bookstore robbery


MANCHESTER, NH – Christopher Webb, 28, was taken into custody by Manchester Police following reports he stole a tip jar from the Bookery on Elm Street.

According to Police a little before 11:30 a.m. officers responded to a call at the Bookery after Webber reportedly approached the cafe’s counter asked for a glass of water and after receiving it, showed a knife, grabbed the jar and fled.

A short time later officers located Webber near the Hanover Street Chophouse. Following his arrest Webber is scheduled to be arraigned in Manchester District Court.
