MANCHESTER, N.H.- The man charged with opening fire and shooting a pair of Public Works employees will remain behind bars following his arraignment.
On Monday Sean Day,32, appeared in court via a video link to answer to first-degree assault charges for shooting a pair of Public Works this past Thursday on Union Street.
According to court documents one of the men recognized Day, who then pulled out a revolved and fired a single shot, wounding both men, however officials note that the pair will be ok following the shooting.
As prosecutors say Day previously worked for the department until he walked off the job due to a prior altercation with another employee.
Out of the hearing the judged ordered that Day remain in state custody until his next hearing which is scheduled for June 30,2026.
