On the morning of March 26th, 2019 at approximately 09:30 A.M., Trooper Stefan Wagner from the New Hampshire State Police, Troop B Barracks in Bedford conducted a motor vehicle stop for an inspection violation along Interstate 93 South in the Town of Windham.
During the course of the stop, a large quantity of marijuana was located and seized. The operator of the vehicle 21 year old Michael MELO of Manchester, New Hampshire was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the State Police Barracks. Once at the Barracks MELO was processed, bailed and released pending his arraignment. MELO is scheduled to be arraigned in the Rockingham Superior Court on April 12th at 0830 for the Felony Level charge of Possession with the Intent to Distribute, as well as the lesser charges of Transportation of Drugs in a Motor Vehicle and for License required – Subsequent Offense.
