Update: Missing man with dementia found deceased

UPDATE: Mr. Breed was located at approximately 9:30AM deceased on his property.

The investigation has been turned over to the State Medical Examiners Office.

On Tuesday March 23, 2021, NH State Police took a report of an elderly white male with dementia that left his residence in the middle of the night. The male was identified as 88 year old Richard Breed of Sandwich, NH.

Mr. Breed is described as 6’0” 150 lbs, gray hair and wearing a Blue/Maroon/Gray Flannel shirt, blue jeans and black winter boots.

He was last seen in his bedroom on March 22, 2021 at about 9:00PM. If Mr. Breed is seen, please contact NH State Police.
