Mont Vernon man charged for role in drive-by-shooting in Hudson

MANCHESTER, N.H.- Hudson Police have charged a Mont Vernon man for his role in a drive-by shooting Halloween night which resulted in a bullet going through the wall of a home.

According to police Samuel Claire,26, has been charged with 5 various charges related to Saturday night’s incident in which the victims say began when they heard someone fire a gun from a vehicle and drive off.

Later that evening police in Amherst stopped Claire and took him into custody on a number of other charges and removed a gun from his vehicle during the arrest.

Police say Claire had a previous relationship with one of the victims which, tied him to the incident.

Claire is due in court Wednesday afternoon.
