Morgan Wallen’s new bar in downtown Nashville finally opened on Saturday, and it was a big success . . . if you don’t count the fact that it opened a week later than expected.
This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen was supposed to open Memorial Day weekend, but they had some last-second problems with permits.
They had to wait for final inspections . . . a 20-foot-tall neon sign with his name in lights got denied last-minute . . . and they couldn’t get the catering permit approved in time.
More than a few fans showed up last weekend and were disappointed when they couldn’t get in. But this Saturday’s opening went off without a hitch.
They posted a video of people braving the rain and lining up and down the block to get in . . . and apparently no one threw any chairs off the roof. So, all in all, it was a big success.
