MANCHESTER, N.H- Police say a man charged in recent a stabbing claims the victim kidnapped his sister more than a decade ago.
According to Police Ramadhani Idrisa Kiki was arrested on the morning of May 27, and charged with second-degree murder for allegedly killing 60-year-old Derek Jones Sr. inside an apartment at 434 Union St.
Police say officers responded to a call for someone yelling and punching the walls a little before 7:45 a.m. and once on scene were greeted by Kiki, who was standing outside in his boxers with blood on his hands talking about how he killed someone.
While stating numerous times he was protecting himself, Kiki told the officers, “He pulled a knife, and look at how many times he cut me.” Kiki also reportedly told police that Jones kidnapped his sister and held her captive for 13 years.
From there officers on scene found Jones’ body in the doorway of a third-floor apartment with a knife lodged in his chest.
According to court documents Kiki was then taken to a hospital and treated for cuts to right hand and shin.
At his arraignment Monday Kiki appeared via a video link where a “No plea” was entered on his behalf. Following is arraignment the 39-year-old was ordered held in preventive detention, and is due back in court on June 12, for a probable cause hearing.
