HUDSON, N.H.-

32 year old Brandon Hennessey of Nashua is facing multiple drug and weapons charges following a traffic stop that resulted in the discovery of illicit drugs, prescription medication, and a firearm

According to Hudson Police the traffic stop occurred on May 28th when police officers pulled over a vehicle driven by Hennessy on Lowell Road. Officers discovered Hennessy’s driver’s license was suspended due to unpaid court fines. Given a prior conviction for Driving After Suspension, police arrested him at the scene.

While conducting an inventory of the vehicle, officers spotted suspected drug paraphernalia, prompting them to impound the car while seeking a search warrant.

A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded suspected crack cocaine, cocaine, various prescription pills, additional drug paraphernalia, and a Smith & Wesson .22-caliber firearm. Due to a previous felony conviction, Hennessy is legally prohibited from possessing firearms. Hennessey is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 6
