Negotiations Fail with St. Joseph Hospital and Health Care Providers

About 7,000 St. Joseph Hospital patients will have to find new providers after the hospital failed to reach a deal with the state’s largest health care providers. St. Joseph’s Hospital agreement with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield ended after nearly 15 months of negotiations. Now, under state law, patients will have until March before Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield no longer covers their care.
