North Hampton man facing murder charge

CONCORD, N.H- A North Hampton man has been charged with second-degree murder and falsifying physical evidence in connection with a woman’s death.

According to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office Stephen Field has been charged for his alleged role in the death of Kylie Fritz, who was found dead inside her apartment in Newmarket and died from a gunshot wound.

Exeter Police say the 39-year-old Field was arrested Monday after police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 101 but found the car was abandoned and had to call in support from a K-9 unit who located Field near an overpass.

At that time Police say Field was charged with a number of misdemeanors including DUI and conduct after an accident only to have the murder and falsifying physical evidence charges filed later on.

Following his arrest authorities say Field has an arraignment scheduled for Wednesday morning.
