CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Authorities in New Hampshire have identified the police officer who shot and killed a man in Thornton. Attorney General Gordon MacDonald says Thornton police officer Matthew Yao fatally shot 37-year-old Ethan Freeman on Monday. His office says Thursday the circumstances of the shooting and still under investigation and no more information will be released until the investigation is completed. Yao has been an officer with the department for about three years.
