One man dead after being struck by Amtrark train in Plaistow

PLAISTOW, N.H.- Authorities are investigating after a man was struck by a train in Plaistow Thursday afternoon.

According to investigators an unidenftied indivual was struck along the tracks near Blosson Rd a little after 1:30 p.m. and police say that a body was found on the tracks.

Officials from Amtrak have confirmed that a train out of Portland headed to Boston struck a vehicle along the tracks and that no passengers or crew members were injured in the crash.

Exact details related to the crash including the man’s identity are currently being withheld as investigators continue to piece together exactly what happened.
