Three people are headed to prison, years after five children between the ages of 2 and 6 were found living in what police called “deplorable” conditions at a Manchester home. Officers who went to the apartment in September 2021 said they found trash covering the floor, feces and moldy food by the children’s beds. Investigators said they later learned Eddie King also shot one of the children in the chest with a pellet gun. King was sentenced Monday to four to eight years in prison. The children’s mother, Alicia King, was sentenced to two years in prison, and their grandmother, Lori Harmon, was sentenced to a year-and-a-half years.
