BEDFORD, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire say a man sought by police following a standoff was arrested after he was spotted at a doughnut shop and fled into the woods. Twenty-eight-year-old Alexander Theriault was arrested in Bedford on Monday night. Police there got a call that Theriault had been seen at the shop. He fled after someone recognized him. Bedford Police set up a perimeter around the wooded area with the assistance of the Manchester and Merrimack police departments, state police, and the Southern New Hampshire Special Operations Unit. Theriault was arrested and faces charges in Manchester. It wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer who could speak on his behalf.
