Post Malone Left Another Big Tip, This Time in New Orleans

Post Malone left another big tip, this time in New Orleans during Super Bowl weekend.  But the bartender almost got CHEATED out of it.

He showed up at a bar called The Howlin’ Wolf on Saturday, spent $25, and left the bartender a $2,000 tip. When she went to cash out, the bar’s payment provider wouldn’t give her the money.

Her name is Heather Foster.  They use Square for credit card payments.  Because the tip was so big, it triggered a red flag in their system.

Instead of $2,000, they only gave her $200.  The good news is Square eventually got it all “squared” away.

She posted a photo of the receipt on social media.  Her boss made some calls.  Then the local news picked up on it.

Square finally approved the full $2,000 tip on Monday.  They said that “some sellers are subject to tip limits to protect them from fraud and other bad activity.”  The bar shouldn’t have any issues going forward.

Heather’s message to Post was, “Thanks for coming to New Orleans” and “next beer’s on me.”  She said Bud Light really is his drink of choice.

(It’s the third big tip from Post that we’ve heard about in the last couple months.  He tipped a Pizza Hut manager in Utah $1,200 a few weeks ago, and left a bartender in Houston 20 grand on Christmas Eve.)
