Public’s Assistance Needed in Sexual Assault Investigation

The Manchester Police Department is investigating a Sexual Assault that happened in the area of Sheehan-Basquil Park at the intersections of Maple Street, Auburn Street, and Lincoln Street.

The assault took place on June 21, 2021 at approximately 11:30 PM and since it was initially reported, there has been a significant follow up investigation.

Recent developments in the case have prompted investigators to request help from the public. Detectives are seeking information regarding a potential suspect described as a young black male wearing a blue and white checkered shirt. Police have also learned that multiple black males may have been involved, but there are no descriptions at this time.

This appears to be an isolated incident and detectives are hoping to speak to anyone who may have been in the area of Sheehan-Basquil Park during the time of this incident.
