SALEM, N.H. – Police responding to a report of a reported road rage incident Tuesday between a FedEx Driver and black pickup say a misunderstanding led to a minor confrontation.

Authorities say a driver reported he was being followed by a driver in a black pickup truck and had been blocked in at the high school with the man refusing to let him.

Once on scene officers spoke with both parties and were able to clear up the scene without any further incident.

Police say the driver of the pickup said the FedEx driver nearly struck an elderly driver while exiting the nursing home across the street.

Believing the vehicle may have been hit, he attempted to get both drivers to pull over, but the elderly woman continued driving and from there the situation escalated into a verbal altercation before Police arrived on scene.

The names of those involved has not been released.
