The Attorney General’s Office is warning E-ZPass customers not to fall for scam texts that claim the recipient has an unpaid toll bill. Department of Transportation say if you receive a text message that appears to be from E-ZPass saying, “You have an unpaid toll bill on your account,” it’s a scam. Officials said New Hampshire’s E-ZPass vendor would never send text messages requesting toll payments or late fees.
