Sex Offender wanted by Police

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Registered Sex Offender who was out on bail after being charged with sex assault earlier this year.

In May, 51-year-old Joseph Goffinet was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault on a Child. This child was under the age of 13.

After being released on PR bail, Goffinet moved and was required to inform police of his address change. Goffinet failed to do so and is now wanted on a charge of Duty to Inform.

Goffinet is a Tier 1 registered sex offender, stemming from a 2007 conviction.
