On Thursday evening Manchester Police responded to 341 Central Street for a reported shooting. Inside the building officers located a 55-year-old woman suffering from a serious gunshot wound to the arm. The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment of the life-threatening injury. Police learned that the suspect was known to the victim and had also shot at another person prior to leaving the area.
Shortly after, 33-year-old Francisco Garcia of Manchester showed up at the Manchester Police Department and turned himself in. Garcia was charged with Attempted – Second Degree Murder, First Degree Assault and Reckless Conduct.
