State officials issue advisory during extreme heat

MANCHESTER, N.H- With the start of what’s expected to be the first official heatwave of the summer State officials are urging folks to take it easy during the extreme heat.

With heat warnings issued for all 10 counties in the Granite State, people are being told to take note and play it safe and if possible, avoid the heat by staying inside, as officials say folks should stay hydrated a limit their time outdoors, if possible.

Those working outside should take frequent breaks and seek shade.

Due to the heat and the conditions, it can create citizens are being asked to check on their elderly neighbors and children.

Citizens in need can also utilize cooling centers in their community and find a location near them by dialing 211.
