Manchester Police responded to 512 Granite Street earlier today for a call involving a possible burglary in progress. Two subjects allegedly broke into the apartment and refused to leave when confronted by the landlord, who was familiar with the male subject inside.
Police arrived on scene at 7:30 a.m. today to investigate the incident and ultimately removed Megan Jensen, 27 year-old, no fixed address. Jensen exited the apartment and was removed from the area while her male counterpart, Patrick Baker, 27 of Nashua, New Hampshire remained inside. Jensen was not charged in the incident.
Officers on scene were told Baker had been living in the apartment, but was evicted by the landlord several days ago. They gathered additional information that Baker was armed with a weapon and made multiple attempts to speak with him, but he refused to speak with the officers on site.
Members of the Manchester SWAT Crisis Negotiator’s Team also attempted to communicate with Baker, yet he failed to answer them or exit the building. The SWAT Team eventually breached the door at approximately 11:00 a.m. and took Baker into custody for resisting arrest/detention.
There is no court date or bail information available at the time of this release.
