Multiple New Hampshire schools were closed on Monday after hundreds of teachers who received the COVID-19 vaccine called in sick. A regional vaccine clinic was held Sunday at the Steeplegate Mall, where teachers from several districts received the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Hillsboro-Deering High School officials posted a notice on their website about the sick calls. In Hopkinton, 30 staffers stayed home with symptoms after getting shots. Concord schools were closed Monday after district officials say several staff members called out sick. In Bow, schools remained open, but more than 50 staff members called out.
Schools were expected to return to normal today.
