Trisha Yearwood is officially Hollywood famous. On Monday, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Which, if you’re counting, was the 2,805th star given out.
Her husband, Garth Brooks, was there to cheer her on, along with fellow country stars Reba McEntire and Carly Pearce.
In her speech, Trisha said it was a surreal moment and that she was, quote, “overwhelmed.”
And then she went on to give thanks to Garth, too. She said, “As many accolades and awards as he has won, I never see him get more excited than he does when I receive something. And for all of the people who want this for me, nobody wants it more than you.”
