Two Manchester stores robbed Sunday

On March 29, at approximately 5am Manchester Police responded to Rapid Refill Gas Station at 650 Second Street for a report of an armed robbery. The clerk told police he was behind the counter when a man wearing a black hoodie and mask rushed in. The clerk said the suspect came around the counter, displayed a knife, and said “give me the bills.” The clerk complied and gave him an undetermined amount of money. The suspect took off on foot.

On March 29, 2020 at approximately 3:30pm, Manchester Police responded to the Maple St Market at 326 Maple Street for a report of an armed robbery. The clerk said a man wearing a hospital mask over his face came in and began to look around. He brought a few items to the counter and asked for two cartons of cigarettes. The clerk told police when he turned to get the cigarettes the man came around the counter, displayed a knife, and demanded money. The clerk picked up a rolling chair, threw it at the suspect, jumped over the counter and went outside. The suspect left with the cartons of cigarettes.

The suspect is described as white, with a slim build, and reddish/blonde hair. He was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, black track pants with a large white printed smiley face and black sunglasses.
