MANCHESTER, N.H. – After 23 years serving the citizens of Manchester, decorated Police Officer Beau Bernard is retiring.
Many know Officer Bernard from his walking patrols, the wagon, and as a school resource officer.
Bernard spent much of his career in the Patrol Division and also served as a School Resource Officer for 2 years.
In 2015, Officer Bernard was awarded the Life Saving Medal and the New Hampshire Congressional Law Enforcement Award for his role in saving a man in crisis on the Granite Street Bridge.
