MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire State Police say a vehicle rollover on the Everett Turnpike in Merrimack ejected the driver and closed the southbound lanes for a couple of hours. Police said the vehicle struck a guardrail, crossed all lanes of travel, then struck a barrier and rolled over several times on Saturday afternoon. The driver was ejected and the front end of the vehicle came to rest on top of him. The vehicle also caught on fire, but was quickly extinguished by passers-by. Police used the vehicle’s carjack to lift it and remove the driver, who was taken to a hospital.
