Windham Fire Fighters battle house fire on North Lowell Road

WINDHAM N.H.- Windham Fire Fighters responded to a house fire at 101 North Lowell Road around 7:30 p.m. Thursday night.

Windham police were the first to arrive at the scene and reported seeing smoke and an active fire in the kitchen.

Police were able to confirm that all of the residents who were home at the time were safely evacuated.

Firefighters brought the fire under control in about 40 minutes.

No injuries were reported; officials say a cause of the fire, is under investigation.
