Woman accused of wrong way driving

On July 28, 2021, at approximately 2125 Hours, Sergeant Jeffrey Ardini was assigned to an extra-duty construction detail on Interstate 93 South in Concord, NH.

As Sergeant Ardini was monitoring traffic in the area, specifically in the area of the Exit 13 off ramp, he observed a vehicle travelling northbound, the wrong way, on the Exit 13 Southbound off ramp, approaching the southbound travel lanes.

Sergeant Ardini quickly positioned his police vehicle across the off ramp blocking the approaching vehicle from entering the travel lanes of the Interstate.

Contact was made with the operator and lone occupant of the vehicle, identified as 46 year old Sarah J. Davis of Dover, New Hampshire.

An investigation revealed that Davis was operating her vehicle while under the influence. Davis was arrested and transported to the NHSP Troop D barracks.

Once at the barracks, Davis refused all requested testing.

Davis was processed and released on a personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in the Concord District Court.

Davis was charged with the following offenses:

-Driving while Intoxicated

-Driving while Intoxicated-Subsequent

-Operating after Suspension DWI
